The honest answer up front

Most photographers make you email for a quote. We think that wastes your time, so here are the real numbers. Across the Houston metro, photos-only shoots for a typical home generally fall between $150 and $400. Add drone work, video, or twilight and full media packages can reach $500–$1,000+ for luxury properties. Where a photographer lands in that range comes down to three things: the size of the property, what media is included, and how fast you get it back.

What actually drives the price

• Square footage. A 4,500 sq ft home takes twice the shooting and editing time of a 1,800 sq ft one. Any pricing that ignores size is either overcharging small homes or cutting corners on big ones.
• Media types. Photos are the foundation. Aerial/drone coverage, walkthrough video, social reels, and twilight shots each add production and editing time — and each adds real marketing value.
• Turnaround. Fast, reliable delivery costs more to operate. A listing that waits five days for photos is a listing losing its launch momentum.

• Luxury — from $749 · 5,500+ sq ft · 65–90 photos, full twilight session, cinematic walkthrough, aerial video

Questions to ask any photographer (including us)

• How fast is delivery? Ours is 48 hours standard, 12-hour rush available.
• Is the drone work legal? Paid drone flights require an FAA Part 107 certificate. Ours are flown by a Part 107–certified pilot — ask anyone you hire to confirm the same.
• How is the media licensed? You should receive clear marketing rights for the listing. Our licensing terms are published openly on our Forms page.
• Are the files MLS-ready? Sizing and format should be handled for you, not left for your assistant to figure out.

Why the cheapest shoot is rarely the cheapest

A $120 shoot that produces dim, crooked photos costs far more than it saves: longer days on market, fewer showing requests, and sometimes a re-shoot anyway. On a $350,000 listing, the difference between a $199 package and cutting corners is about 0.06% of the sale price — for the asset every single buyer sees first.
